Thanks again for all of the work, I've played these modpacks for 5 years now and had nothing but enjoyment for free.įTB's contract with Curse/Twitch ended at the end of October, so they are enacting the plans they claimed to have had in place before partnering with Curse to begin with pull their content from Curse's platform and revive their own launcher.īloat, Lack of Linux support, bugs, etc. I know this is more of a QoL request on my end, but it seems like a pretty simple feature that I can't help but misunderstand the lack of. I also notice that current modpacks such as Sky Factory 3 don't have a tab for listing all the related mods that come with the modpack. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong area or this isn't fully updated yet, but are there any plans on showing a full catalog of modpacks to search through visually, rather than by name or with lone, specific categories? This is great and all, but perhaps I am missing the section where I can fully look through the entire catalog much like the old launcher? I seem to be limited to the search function and background knowledge to find an older modpack such as say, FTB Academy. The Browse function on the launcher for Modpacks seemingly only shows modpacks in 3 categories: Featured, Top Installs, and Top Plays. I mark my changes with a distinct comment so I can just rapid-fire through them if the update is big and touches a lot of what I modified. In my example: "C:\Users\Cerus\Documents\MCStuff\E2E_custom\scripts\DraconicEvolution.zs"Īfter the modpack associated with your custom config updates, run your shortcut, Meld will spit out a list of config files that have changed from the versions you're retaining, you can go change by change and re-add your customizations quickly while retaining anything unrelated that's changed in the same file. Now that you're set up, when you modify a config file copy it to your custom folder, so if the modification is to a script with the path: "\scripts\DraconicEvolution.zs" put your copy in exactly the same place in your custom folder. ![]() (This opens a comparison between files in your custom and live directories.)Ĥ - In Meld under "View - File Status" uncheck "New", we're only interested in comparing the files you've customized. Mine looks like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Meld\Meld.exe" "C:\Users\Cerus\Documents\MCStuff\E2E_custom" "C:\Users\Cerus\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Enigmatica 2 Expert" If you would like more information on FTB then check out our Wiki to see all the current modpacks, and discussions from the community, as well as helpful links!Ĭlick here to get to the Wiki!
